Summer Fun August 2008

Wylie has discovered a great love for swings, corn on the cob, Starbucks (I know, it's so very wrong), and gardening at great-grandma's house!

Wylie's 1st Birthday

Wylie's birthday has a Hawaiian theme. Lots of family and friends showed up, we couldn't ask for a more enjoyable day!

Visiting Aunt Paula & family, June 5, 08'

Wylie was at Grandma Jerrie's house (my grandma) the day before his birthday. We celebrated early with cake and presents. Then Wylie crawled all the way across the room in perfect form (he saw a ball:)! Wylie's vocabulary consists of Mama, Dada, Baba, & ball.

Jerry & Ericka's cocktail cruise & wedding in Maui

I suppose I should mention that Jerry is David's older brother who married Ericka in Maui.

Wylie came on the cocktail cruise with me, he wasn't too excited, but Mommy & Daddy had a lot of fun!

The wedding was beautiful...but very hot & humid, so Wylie had just his vest and sandles on!

Rehearsal BBQ, etc...

1. From the top: The rehearsal BBQ was on the beach and it was really windy, Wylie loved it. 2. Wylie also loved his 1st taste of watermelon!

3. Wylie out to eat with the family, gave lots of kisses that day.

4. The morning after the wedding, we drove to the highest spot in Maui (10,000 ft) and watch the sunrise. Amazing!

5. We went to the rainforest, Wylie was indifferent, but we enjoyed it.

First trip to the Beach. June 25th-July 2nd, 08' Maui, HI

1. " My first time to the Pacific Ocean, in Maui! The water was a pretty blue and I loved to waves."
2. "I was playing in the sand too, I was suprized to know that sand tasted so good. I pooped our sand for days."
3. "Daddy and I made a sand castle. Okay, Daddy made a sand castle, I ate sand."

June 2008

June 08', 11 months: In June, Wylie helped Daddy celebrate graduation and Father's Day in one weekend. Pictures from the top- 1. "My first taste of a mango popsicle, yum!". 2. "Daddy's graduation from Evergreen State College, I was so sleepy." 3. "I was taking a nap and then Fluff decided she wanted a nap too, then Mommy covered Fluff with the covers too."
